Course Outline	1st Qtr. N.C. Geography Native American Cultures European Exploration English Colonization Colonial Period American Revolution
Homework	Homework is assigned two or three nights a week. E-mails are sent weekly advising homework assignments and weekly agenda. Students are instructed to write the assignments in their planner.
Highlights	We continue with special projects. They include diagrams concerning the political issues in the Presidential Race. Students will make maps of the colonial regions and the cultural differences.
Expectations	Arrive prepared and on time...books, pencils, paper, homework, attitude. Sit quietly and begin the assignment. Raise hand to speak. Remain seated. Be Respectful No inappropriate behavior. Use conversational voices. No book bags during class. No food, drinks. No cell phones. Do not leave the room without permission
Helpful Tips	Use our e-mail for quick responses. Watch for our e-mail concerning assignments. There is homework weekly.
